The GPL-3.0 client is free and supports local Ollama. The model weights and their license are not granted by the client; hosted Chatbox AI and other provider APIs can require payment. Local inference still requires compatible hardware and model storage.

No one-line command has been verified for Chatbox; follow its official installation instructions instead of guessing a Docker image or installer.

The MIT-licensed assistant software is free to run on your own machine. Cloud models, connected services and hosted machines can require payment; subscriptions or API keys are supplied separately.
