Easy Diary

Android

Platform information checked 2026-10-24. The Android application is GPL-3.0 free software, with official APK and documented F-Droid downloads. Your device and storage are separate. Google Drive backup requires that separate account and its storage allowance; voice input can involve your device's speech service. App locking is not a claim of end-to-end encrypted cloud storage. It replaces personal journal workflows, without promising Day One's publishing, synchronization or migration equivalence.

Official app downloads and supported devices

Use the publisher’s linked store or documented APK channel. AltStack does not host APK files. A player or independent client does not grant access to paid subscription content.

Installation and setup

Install on your phone or supported device · Instructions checked 2026-10-24

  1. Choose the stable Easy Diary release from the provider's GitHub Releases, or its README-linked F-Droid package me.blog.korn123.easydiary. Keep one update channel.
  2. Install the appropriate Android build through that source. Review the permissions used for photos, speech or backup before enabling those optional features.
  3. Create a short test entry, find it through search or the calendar, and check how a photo attachment is retained.
  4. Review the documented backup and restore workflow before moving an existing journal. Keep an independent copy and test restoring a sample before relying on a backup.

Provider-source review only; no candidate code, installer or APK was executed.
